Hall of Fame
George Eiben was a member of the varsity football team for three years, and was the starting fullback during his junior and senior years. As a junior, his team won nine games and lost one. His senior year team went 6-3 and finished second in the East Senate. For his outstanding performance as a fullback and defensive linebacker, George received the Notre Dame Touchdown Award. He was honored as as the most outstanding back on the team, and was selected to the All-East Senate team as a fullback and on the All-Scholastic team both as a fullback and linebacker.
George attended Nebraska University on a football scholarship.
