Hall of Fame
Probably the most unusual collection of sports in the Hall of Fame, Jerry played football, golf, and track. In his senior year, he co-captained the football team. Since golf was in the spring, he played the sport for two years while also running track at the same time. It is in track that Jerry made his name known.
Probably one of the best discus throwers ever in the Cleveland area, he set school records in his sophomore, junior, and senior years. Each year, he qualified for the state finals where in 1974 he placed fourth. Jerry continued his collegiate track career at both John Carroll University and Toledo University. At JCU he set the school record in discus and qualified for the collegiate finals as a freshman.
Upon graduation he entered the computer the computer science industry. In 1981, Jerry worked for the Republican National Committee. He later went overseas where his company assisted the Oman government.
