Pat was a three-year member of the track team and set a number of school records. As a junior, he set a record in the two-mile run of 10:07. In his senior year, he bettered that mark to 9:56. As a member of the two-mile relay team, they set a new school record and won first place in the City meet at the Cleveland Arean. The four-mile relay team placed second in the Cincinnati Meet and later placed fourth in the state meet. They also set a new school record in the four-mile relay 18:43:30.
Greener also excelled for three years as a member of the cross country team that won 13 straight dual meets and Pat was rated the number one man on the team.
