Notre Dame-Cathedral Latin School

Ray was an outstanding basketball player for the Lions for three years. During the three years as a regular on the varsity team, Ray was the leading scorer as a sophomore, junior, and served as a team captain his junior and senior years. In his senior year, the team won 11 games and lost four. The Lions won the Catholic title, East Senate title and City title.

Ray was an excellent baseball player, lettering all four years. After graduation he played three years of professional basketball and seven years of minor league baseball.
