Notre Dame-Cathedral Latin School

Tyrone was a key member of the track team while at Cathedral Latin. He specialized in the shot put and discus. His sophomore year, he won the shot put at the Crown Conference Meet. In the discus his junior year, he placed second in Sectionals, fifth at Districts, and seventh at State. During his senior year, he was co-captain and qualified for the District Final in discus.

Tyrone was also a member of the football team. He played three years on the varsity squad and was a tri-captain his senior year. Tyrone received a football scholarship to West Virginia University and completed master's level coursework in Education at John Carroll University.
